Although I was going to have an OR experience this and meeting with my advisor, it didn't turn out the way I expected. I couldn't get the opportunity to visit OR. One reason was the search for the scrub. Unfortunately, I didn't follow the simple rule: ask for it. JH did it and got one. Good news is that he will help me get in touch with the neurosurgeon to get into OR. Scrub will be complimentary! On the other hand, the meeting with my advisor was scheduled on Tuesday, but unfortunately, I have postpone it for a necessary visit to Ithaca.
So instead, I decided to revisit MRI facility and the Reading room, brushing up things and filling the gaps. There was nothing special and the same stuff I have been observing for weeks. Also, I started preparing my term paper due after the summer immersion. I also worked on the poster for the required presentation.
The good news is I did get started on one of two research projects. For the first and the main one, I am yet to get approval from IRB. But I got model data for the second project and also the program to generate noise. Currently, I am testing my ideas to achieve the desired results.
Hopefully, next week will be exciting and bring some news to me.
