The techs and I spent the week optimizing our cancer cell
capture protocol. We ran blood and
cancer through microfluidic devices. The devices varied in surface
chemistries. Soon we hope to
process blood from cancer patients to capture and isolate any rare circulating
tumor cells.
I’ll end with words from philosopher Jim Gaffigan. Said he,
